What we’ve been up to
Crowning of Our Lady – May 2017
This is a highly anticipated and a very happy occasion at school. Every year in May the Junior school gathers in prayerful assembly dedicated to Our Lady. Parents are also invited to join us in prayer.
Thinking of Others
Easter time 2017 – The Pupil Council organised a dress down day in aid of Puttinu. Funds collected were donated for the benefit of those in need of support. Pupil Council members presented the funds during a TV programme, which was collecting funds in aid of Puttinu. Special thanks goes to all the families and staff members who generously put forward their donations!
Literacy Week 2016
Literacy Week at the Junior School – April 2016
Once upon a time in a small school right in the heart of a busy town there was a lot of excitement and activity. The teachers had various colourful events planned for their students and everyone was ready to celebrate Literacy Week! Students enthusiastically joined in the different activities which instilled a sense of love and appreciation for reading.
Activities ranged from individual reading moments, story-telling for the younger girls, treasure hunts and games related to popular stories. Well-known author Trevor Zahra also visited the junior school and spent time answering all the questions the girls eagerly asked about his books and love for writing. This was surely a week to be remembered!
On Thursday 15th May 2014, the Pupil Council organised Rainbow Day.
All girls and members of Staff were asked to come to school wearing rainbow colours. The Pupil Council collected money for resources which will be used in school in the coming years.
This day was a colourful fun filled day enjoyed by one and all!
