“We are connect“
Our Grade 6s began the school year by exploring the theme “We Are Connected” through a creative and colourful tessellation project. Each student designed their own unique shape, reflecting their individuality, creativity and personality. Just like every person, no two designs were exactly the same. And yet, when placed together, each piece connected beautifully with the next. Through tessellation, our students discovered that individual pieces can come together to create something bigger than themselves. Every shape has its place, every design adds something special, and together they create a connected whole. It was a wonderful way to begin the year, reminding us that we can celebrate what makes us unique while still being connected, supporting one another and being part of the same community. Different shapes. Different ideas. One connected Grade 6.
